I’m a documentary photojournalist (b. 2004, Atlanta, GA) pursuing a BFA in photojournalism at the Corcoran School of Art and Design in Washington, D.C. My work focuses on everyday experiences that reveal the dynamic and nuanced intersection of history, community, and culture through long-term visual narratives. I publish these projects under my imprint, Jaywalk Press, with the goal of making the stories I tell accessible and affordable while also giving them the space and depth they deserve. My blog Field Notes talks about many of the stories behind the making of this work.

The NPPF scholarship and recognition have been a huge help with my senior thesis project. It’s really because of the support I received from NPPF that I am able to overcome the financial obstacle of making the work.
