Emma H. Tobin is a Peabody Award-winning visual storyteller and senior manager based in Brooklyn, New York, with a proven track record developing and producing compelling photo, video, and graphic content for Fortune 100 brands and major news organizations. She has created work in 28 countries and is always travel-ready, combining global field experience with a story-first mindset that drives impact.

With deep roots in visual journalism, shaped by roles at CNN and the Associated Press, Tobin specializes in human-centered storytelling. She leads and contributes to the full production process, bringing advanced technical skills across directing, filming, editing, producing, and live event execution. As a strategic communicator and collaborative leader, she champions creative teams with empathy, clarity, and vision.

Her work has been recognized by the Overseas Press Club Foundation, James Beard Foundation, National Press Photographers Foundation, NLGJA, and Facebook. It has appeared in CNN, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, Associated Press, PBS, Los Angeles Times, CBS, NPR, ABC, USA Today, Miami Herald, Seattle Times, Star Tribune, and The Times of India, among others.

Tobin holds a master’s degree in visual journalism and a B.A. in environmental studies, both from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
