Madeleine Hordinski is a Cincinnati-based photographer and educator whose work examines themes of memory, land, and the evolving identity of the Midwest. A regular contributor to The New York Times and The Washington Post, she holds dual degrees in photojournalism and anthropology from Ohio University. She is a faculty member at the University of Cincinnati’s School of Design, where she teaches photography. Her debut monograph, Holding Hope, is set to be published in 2025.
