HG Biggs is a freelance photojournalist based in Athens, OH. She graduated from the University of Mississippi with a B.A. in Chinese and a minor in Intelligence and Security Studies in 2024. I am also a graduate of the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College. My greatest passion as a photojournalist is documenting the local impacts of national and international stories.
The NPPF scholarship and recognition have been a huge help with my senior thesis project. It’s really because of the support I received from NPPF that I am able to overcome the financial obstacle of making the work.
