Yehyun Kim

I’m based in Secaucus, New Jersey and available for freelance photo and video work in New Jersey, New York, and Seattle, Washington.

I was born and raised in South Korea and moved to the U.S. in my early twenties to live a life doing what I’m passionate about – telling stories with photos and videos, especially about immigrants, culture and health.

For me, photography is a tool to learn about people, life, and issues surrounding life. I believe photos and videos can lead the audience to understand and care about people around us.

She has a journalism degree from the University of Missouri/Columbia and has a degree from Dongduk Women’s University in South Korea. She participated in the Eddie Adams Workshop and won the 74th College Photographer Of The Year Award of Excellence in General News.
